BCP Participates and Won the Second National Debate - June 1st 2021
Represented by the National Chairman Dwayne Huyler, the BCP participated in the 2nd in the 4-part series National Political Debate hosted by University of the Bahamas and Verizon media on Tuesday June 1st. The thematic debate was on CoVID19 and Climate Change. Mr. Huyler who is the BCP Candidate in St Barnabas, was coached by BCP National Debate Committee headed by National Deputy Chairman, Harold Roberts of Grand Bahama. His Aides were Dione Pratt and Terrance Rodgers. Assisting the Team for the Focus group in Grand Bahama was Maria Jones, BCP Candidate in East GB, and Sheryl Russell.
The six party debate was attended by DNA, PLP, KGM, COI, BDM and BCP. All television Commentary placed the BCP participant as the winner of the debate. This is the second in the series. The BCP was also touted by the media as having won the Youth Debate, which was participated in by Shaquille D Johnson, BCP Youth Chairman and Candidate for Killarney.
BCP Leaders Visits Church Service for 22nd Anniversary
BCP Leaders and several Candidates Worshiped at the Grants Town Seventh day Adventist Church on Saturday May 15th for its 8:30 am Divine Service, to Mark the 22nd Anniversary of the party. The Party was officially launch May 14th 1999. The group is seen with the Pastoral Intern Waylon Johnson who delivered the sermon. The group was warmly welcomed to the Sanctuary by the the Pastoral Team and other Church members. BCP Leader S Ali McIntosh and BCP Grants Town candidate Andrew Hart attends the Grant's Town SDA Church.
BCP Youth Chairman Shaquille Johnson Participates in UB National Debate - May 11th
Shaquillle represented the BCP with excellence and was touted by some commentary to have won the debate because of his poised and unruffled demeanor, and his substantive contribution to the questions. Shaquille will carry the BCP banner in Killarney as the candidate in the upcoming General Election.
BCP in Englerston - April 24th 2021
Several Leaders of the BCP walked with BCP Englerston Candidate Matthew Smith in the constituency on April 24th, as part of its bi-weekly walk in the Constituency with the candidates. The candidates continue their personal canvass during the week. The BCP leaders will be going through constituencies throughout New Providence over the next few weeks.
BCP Releases BluePrint for Governance - April 7th 2021
The BCP released its Governance platform to the nation on April 7th,2021 the BluePrint for Governance - Mandate 2022. The 94 page electronic Version was unveiled on the website as a Flip book and is fully available to the public. The Deputy Leader of the party Cornelius McKinney is the principle organizer and visionary of the Blueprint for Governance that was inspired by divine revelations.
BCP Launch of Candidates - March 15th 2021
The announcement of the BCP 1st 16 candidates was held on march 15th followed by a walkabout in the Bain's town Constituency to talk to residents and Introduce the Bain Town candidate Andrew Hart to residents.
BCP Leader Receives Courtesy Call From Scotland - February 9th 2021
The BCP Leader was delighted to receive a Courtesy Call from His Excellency Youth Ambassador KaraJahYah Forbes - Schlagenhauf, from St Leonards School, St. Andrews, Scotland, United Kingdom (On the Occasion of being Appointed 1st Black Head Boy of St Leonards). He was warmly received during a Zoom Meeting along with his Senior Master Dr. Michael Carslaw, Head Master at St Leonards School. The BCP Chairman Dwayne Huyler, the BCP Trustee Chair, Dr. Agnes Glinton, and BCP Constituency Coordinator Brian McHardy was present to join the Servant leader to receive the call. Other members of the Leadership team was online the meeting to congratulate him on his achievement. Ambassador Karajahyah is a member of the Youth Arm of the BCP.

BCP Talks with Third Parties - 2021
During the months of January - March 2021, the BCP Leader led Talks or had conversations with the majority of third party leadership, Independents and other groups including Ethiopian Black Congress ( Rastafarian Movement and the Pan Afrikan Group, SKAAPG. Meetings took place with Centreville Independent Member of Parliament Mr. Reece Chipman and other Independents, Coalition of Independent Leader Lincoln Bain, Democratic National Alliance (DNA) Leader Arinthia Komalafe, Bahamas Democratic Movement (BDM) Leader Cassius Stuart, Righteous Government Leader Prophet Micklyn Seymour, Way Forward Movement Leader Pastor Michael Saunders, the People's National Coalition Leader Garth Roseboro & Team, Coalition for a Better Bahamas Paul Rolle; and spoke by telephone to other fridge groups leaders. These conversations served to introduce the idea of going forward together and forming an alliance to govern together.
Bahamas Constitution Party (BCP) Celebrated 20 years - 2019
The Bahamas Constitution Party (BCP) celebrated 20 years in the work of Political Activism in the Bahamas with a Service of Thanksgiving Service on September 27th at the Salem Union Baptist Church. The BCP was formed in 1998, but was officially launched May 14th 2019. The celebrations this year was delayed because of other activities and commitments.
However, the 20th Anniversary celebrations began in February 26th 2018, at a Recognition Ceremony, when the BCP honoured the Founding Fathers of the modern Bahamas, the late Sir Lynden O. Pindling and Sir Randol Fawkes, in addition to Sir Arthur Foulkes and other Signatories to the Bahamian Constitution.
The Honourable Glenys Hanna-Martin received the Commendation on behalf of her father, former Governor-General the Honourable A D Hanna, at the 2019 Service of Thanksgiving at the Salem Union Baptist Church.

BCP Leaders Visit Abaco in Advance of Campaign Relaunch
A seven (7) member team of the Bahamas Constitution Party leadership made a Pre-Launch visit to Abaco during the weekend prior to the official Relaunch event held on Tuesday November 22nd. The entourage for the weekend of November 18th - 21st included Servant Leader Ali McIntosh, Deputy Servant Leader Colin Miller, President of Bahamas In Prophecy & The People's Foundation, Prophet Micklyn Seymour; BCP Incoming Chairman Dwayne Huyler, BCP Executive Members Apostle Dr Agnes Glinton and Elder Clement Russell. The team was joined by BCP Cheif Coordinator in Abaco & its National Women's Chairman, Evangelist Kathleen Knowles, President of Heal Our Land Family Outreach Ministries in Dundas Town Abaco.
The iteniary included a live recording of Good Morning Bahamas on Channel 55 BCN -TV. During the live Interview, Ali McIntosh and Prophet Micklyn Seymour spoke abot righteous government and the BCP mandate to implement it in the Bahamas through a BCP administration. In addition to a myraids of networking and meetings, the group also attended the Sunday morning Thanksgiving Service & Luncheon at the Fellowship Tabanacle. During the early hours of Saturday morning, the group held a short prayer service in Crown Haven, the place the BCP has termed as the North Gate. In addition to the prayers, members of the group stook a short tour of the constituency, stopping in Coopers' town to talk with residents. The group returned to Nassau on Monday afternoon.

BCP Leaders Paid Courtesy Call on Parliamentary Commissioner - September 1st
Several members of the Executive Leadership Council of the Bahamas Constitution Party (BCP) paid a Courtesy Call on Mr. Sherlyn Hall, the Parliamentary Commissioner on the morning of Thursday, September 1st. The Executives lead by BCP Servant Leader, Sharell Ali McIntosh, who presented a copy of the BCP Operational Manual and Bye Laws (2016) to the Parliamentary Registration Department, to be included on its records. This is the first articulation of the political organizations' Rules and Regulations, which is expected to be available to the public as a fully Registered document within the coming months.
During the visit, the group discussed issues relating to the upcoming elections, including,
a) The BCP Suspension of its National public campaign and public persona,
b) The Concerns of the Rastafarian community about Marking an X during the voting,
c) Concerns that had arisen during the recent Constitutional Referendum Polling,
d) And other matters regarding Polling and registration of Voters on the new Register.
When pressed by Mr Hall regarding the time of the resumption of its national Campaign, the Servant Leader confirmed the decision of the party to make a decision within 90 days of its Suspension date of August 29th. Thus a decision and an Official statement is expected by the 1st of December. The meeting was cordial and very informative. The BCP leadership wishes to thank the Parliamentary Commissioner and the department for receiving them warmly.

Solemn Assembly for the Nation - 2016
BCP Leaders Joins March for Our Bahamaland Committee on Jan 31st for Solemn Prayers for the nation held on Clifford Park at 6 am. SL Ali McIntosh, an Intercessor and one of the Coordinators of SBC Lay Prayer Ministries, the United Fellowship of Prayer Warriors was Guest Moderator for the Prayer Meeting; and the Deputy Servant Leader Colin Miller blew the Shophar for the event. The BCP Servant Chairman Demetrius Frazier appeared on several talk shows during the summer months.
Addressing issues in the news on Hot topics Monday, Mr Frazier has appeared on Shenique Miller -The Conversation on Guardian Radio 96.9 FM, sitting in for Servant Leader Ali McIntosh, who is a regular guest on the weekly show. He appeared several times during the month of July.
He has also appeared on The Conversation - All Male Panel talking about matters relating to Love and Relationships.
On September 15th, Mr Frazier appeared on Sports Radio 103.5 fm with hosts Levyon Miller II & Louby George, and several other aspiring politicians, including the leader of The Democrats, Mr. Allan Bain. The show ran from 7 pm to 10 pm.

BCP Attends Monthly Church Services - Breath of Life SDA Church, Sabbath, August 1st
Members of the BCP Leadership team visited the Breath of Life Seventh-Day Adventists Church on Marshall Road in South Beach on Sabbath August 1st. The visitation were part of its monthly Church visitations, as they meet the general public.
The President of the Atlantic Caribbean Union Mission of Seventh-Day Adventists, Dr Leonard Johnson was the Guest preacher for the 11 am Divine Hour Service.
The Pastor Kenny Deaveaux conducted the service, and welcomed six BCP officers and their families to the service. Pastor Andrew Burrows, a Departmental Director of the ACUM was also in attendance. Servant Leader Ali McIntosh brought brief remarks.

BCP Attends Monthly Church Services - United Faith Ministries International Sunday, July 26th
Members of the BCP Leadership Team attended the 10:30 am Divine Hour services on Sunday July 26th at the United Faith Ministries International on Firetrail Road during its monthly church visitations.
The service was conducted by Apostle Phalmon Ferguson, the Senior Pastor & Founder of UFMI, who also preached the sermon. We were blessed during the anointed service, and encouraged to continued the work of the Kingdom of God.

BCP Held 1st Monthly Meeting in Eastern New Providence - Tuesday, June 30th
The Bahamas Constitution Party began a series of monthly meetings, leading up to its National Convention in the Fall. The first of its Public Meet and Greet was held for New Providence Eastern Region Constituencies at the L. W. Young Junior School in FoxHill on Tuesday June 30th. The Constituencies invited included Nassau Village, Seabreeze, Yamacraw, St Ann, Fox Hill, Elizabeth and Marathon.
The meeting hosted about fifty (50) persons with several local talk radio personalities in attendance. The Servant Leader, S. Ali McIntosh gave a speech in response to the recent United States Supreme Court Ruling on Same Sex Marriage in all 50 States, and its implications for the Bahamas. Questions and Answers period followed, which was led out by the National Servant Chairman Demetrius Frazier. A time of fellowship and refreshments followed. A MEET & GREET FOR BCP 16TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS
A Meet & Greet at the Stephen Dillet School on Monday May 18th culminated the 16th Anniversary 3-day celebrations of the party. An informal evening of fellowship with the BCP Leadership Council and those attending. Despite the rain, the program went off successfully followed by the cutting of the Birthday Cake..... BCP CELEBRATES 16TH ANNIVERSARY IN CHURCH ......MAY 16th -18th
A walk down 'Memory Lane' was the strode taken by the Leadership Council of the Bahamas Constitution Party during the 16th Anniversary weekend May 16th - 18th. The Bahamas Constitution Party celebrated its sixteenth (16th) anniversary, just as it started 16 years ago...In Church.
On May 14th, 1999, the Bahamas Constitution Party was officially launched. A Thanksgiving Service was held to announce the inception and the official launch to the nation. The Host Church was Golden Gates Assemblies World Outreach Ministries on Carmichael Road. The Senior Pastor, Dr Ros L. Davis was our gracious host, who welcomed us to his beautiful edifice and his solemn pulpit. The guest speaker was Dr. C. Clifford Smith. A celebrant in the service was also Dr Jane H. White, the Pastor of the Freedom Temple Evangelistic Pentecostal Church..
Thus, during the celebratory weekend, the BCP Leadership visited two of those pastors who took part in the Thanksgiving Service that marked the launch of the political organization. Dr Jane H. White who was also a celebrant during the initial launch service 16 years ago, joined the BCP in the visitations on Sunday May 17th at both the Golden Gates Assemblies and the Southside Christian Centre.
This past weekend, we visited three churches to mark the anniversary.
May 16th - Centreville Seventh-day Adventist Church Saturday 16th May @ 11 am Divine Hour Service. Seven (7) members of our Leadership along within their families joined the worship service. Pastor Peter Joseph, the senior Pastor preached the sermon for the service, and opened the door of the church for new members.
May 17th - Golden Gates Assemblies World Outreach Ministries for 8 am Service. The group was prayed over, blessed and anointed by Bishop Ross Davis. Our Servant Leader Ali McIntosh brought some brief remarks to the congregants. Prophet Remington Rolle was the guest Speaker, who admonished the group to move forward. The group was hosted to breakfast following the powerful service.
May 17th - Southside Christian Ministries Intl for the 10:30 am Worship Service. The Senior Pastor Apostle Dr. C. Clifford Smith hosted and preached the sermon. Our Servant Leader Ali McIntosh brought brief remarks. Please see some photos from all three the services.

The Bahamas Constitution Party officially launched its righteous agenda to the nation for the 2017 General Election Campaign during a Mini-Conclave. The one night parley provided the time to nominate, and ratify the Executive Leadership Council, and installed ten (10) members of the Council.
The keynote address was given by BCP Founder and Servant Leader, S. Ali McIntosh, the first woman to ever lead a political party in the Bahamas. The address featured seven (7) Indictments (from the Constitution) against the Progressive Liberal Party Christie-led government for Malfeasance, since their re-election to office in May 7th 2012.
Following the reading of the Indictments, a Motion was called for the convening of a People's Grand Jury to investigate Matters relating to Malfeasance by members of the Christie-led government. The expected results of the People's Grand Jury is to place pressure on this government to resign and call early elections.
The one night parley was held at the Stephen Dillet Primary School Auditorium in Grants Town on Tuesday March 31st at 7:30 pm.

BCP Attends Constitutional Lectures Series April 20th, 2015
The Servant Leader, S. Ali McIntosh was the Guest lecturer at the second Annual Constitutional Lecture Series organized to educate the public regarding matters of the Constitutional rights. The first in a three part weekly series, the topic for the evening's was 'The Bahamian Government and Politics - Evaluating the rights and responsibilities of the politician and the citizen in the Voting Process."
Ms Sheleta Collie is the Organizer of Second Annual Constitutional Lecture Series, along with her colleague, Mrs Johnson. The lecture series will run Mondays April 20th, April 28th, and May 4th at 6 pm nightly at the Palmdale Primary School.
The National Servant Chairman Demetrius Frazier, and the Administrative Servant Chairman Aaron Christopher Cox attended to provide support for the work being done in the community.
